Fertile Soil for Investments

The growth of investments in sustainable agribusiness in the country is the theme of EXAME’s special feature, which features S.Oleum as a highlight in this fertile scenario of attracting investors.

Added to the interest of investors who see the competitiveness and high growth rates of Brazilian agribusiness, is the government’s effort in plans that aim to boost the activity. According to the article, in addition to sustainable agricultural and livestock practices, recognized worldwide, such as no-till farming and the Integrated Crop-Livestock-Forest (ICLF) system, the federal government has a plan, estimated at US$ 120 billion, to convert 40 million hectares of degraded or low-productivity pastures into high-yield crops or livestock in 10 years.

S.Oleum, a large-scale, sustainable raw materials company with a negative carbon footprint, responds to this context with its plan to implement 180,000 hectares of agroforestry, by 2029, through the Crop-Livestock-Forest integration system in degraded or low-fertility areas.
